What Is Longevitology?
Longevitology, (Chang Sheng Xue in Chinese, which translates as "study of staying healthy mentally, physically and spiritually") is one of several health therapy disciplines practiced by all races, which seeks to directing the Universal energy flow into the body to activate our body cells and improve our body's metabolism rate in order eliminate toxins thus allowing the body natural ability to heal itself.
How does it work?
The general theory of health (good or poor) underlying Longevitology is the same as in other forms of Asian medicine i.e. Good health is the result of energy (referred to as Ch'i, Qi or Prana) and blood flowing smoothly through the organ systems of the body; poor health may be experienced when the flow of ch'i is disrupted. When proper energy flow has been restored, conditions are optimized for the body to heal itself.
The human body lives in a rich field of universal ying & yang energy. Just as a healthy body draws oxygen into the lungs to breathe, it also draws in universal energy to replenish itself. It does so through points on the body, neural plexus called chakras. Chakras are the body’s power centres, energizing cells and organs so they can function. Each chakra governs the functioning of a different organ system. When all chakras are operating effectively, metabolism and the immune system should function efficiently; waste and toxins should be easily discharged.
How is Longevitology practiced?
Initially, a Master Practitioner opens a student’s chakras to receive this universal energy. Students are taught how to use this energy as beneficial therapy for themselves and others.
In practice the therapy practitioner places their hands on or near a patient’s chakra, closest to the site of the poor health complaint. The practitioner acts as a conductor for the flow of energy into the patients’ body.
People who received Longevitology energy adjustments have indicated they experienced improvements to their health such as: calmness; reduced stress; pain relief; deeper, more restful sleep; increased energy; relief from migraines, tension headaches and back pain; increased mental alertness; faster healing process of injuries and post surgical operations; reduction of illness discomfort; and generally an improved quality of life.
It is important to note that the energy adjustments do not cure or treat any diseases and are not a substitution for regular medical care. By restoring energy balance, the body’s ability to heal itself may be improved.
